Since schoool I have worked at everything from full time missionary work to U.S. Army to Sales, Customer Service and Management.

I moved to California almost six years ago and now my creative side has really flourished. I have published my first book, "The Blowfish And Other Men of the Sea", been a guest on Dr. Phil to confront an man with out of control ego, a one hour solo radio interview and local book signings should start here in April. My book is available everywhere on line but should start rolling out in the stores this Spring. Most recently have been taking acting classes and am pursuing acting.I am a cancer survivor and am determined to make every day special and NOT waste time any more.

California is so much fun but Hollywood is a disappointment. People are a little different here, okay a LOT different, and very self-absorbed but you pick your friends wisely and stay away from the self absorbs.

I enjoy supporting my friends, actors, musicians and such and although I am extremely homesick, I think CA will be my new home.

I have never married, (been engaged a few times), and am still looking for a special man to spend my time with. I have not been blessed with children although I have had two cats for 19 years. One just passed away Dec 2008 and the other 19 year old is going strong.

All of my family still lives in Chesterfield or the surrounding areas, so I am the rebel who moved away. They are all married. I have the most amazing and beautiful nieces and most handsome nephew in the world. Okay, I am a bit biased but they are amazing.

Jason is 25, Mandy is 23, Nicole is 22, Sarah is 17 and Christine is 14. I have been a hands on Auntie so I guess I have had a chance to do my mothering through them.

School Story:

I was the nerdy, quiet wall flower in school so I dont have any real funny stories. High School is a blur as I tried to forget it ;) because I always felt uncomfortable. Most of that was caused not by the ridicule of others but just the family situation.

I do remember that in 12th grade I dressed up for the pep rally as a farmer and cut my really long hair and dyed it half orange and half blue for the rally.

I always watched from the distance not quite knowing how to approach anyone due to being so shy. I had several crushes from high school!

Jeff Martin, Jay Edwards, Lin Challenor, I cant remember them all--its been 30 years! But it will be fun to see these men again!

I did attend one reunion a while back and saw some people. Most dont remember me and why should they? I never really participated or did anything in school to get noticed but thats okay.

I still am looking forward to the reunion and I still think high school was a very good thing for me.

Oh yeah, I did win 3rd place at Chesterfield Tech for the State Cosmetology competition...I NEVER became a hairdresser!

Children? (Step-children count as a "Yes")

No
