After I graduated from Schurz, I worked for a company called American Cyanamid and then went on to World Book Encyclopedia in the Merchandise Mart. I met my husband in 1965 and married in 66. We have two girls, Tracey and Christine. Tracey lives in Cortland, Illinois and has three boys, 20, 15, and 3 and a half. Christine has a girl 5 months old and lives in Elgin. My husband worked for the American Medical Assoc. and was a graphic designer and illustrator. He has had two strokes and other complications and has been in a wheelchair since 1996. He is doing remarkably well considering everything he has been through. I am sorry to say we will not be able to attend the reunion. We have our house up for sale and we plan on moving to a retirement facility in Geneva, Illinois. Schurz really brings back some wonderful memories. Have a great time at the reunion.
