JANET BERGNER OBITUARY

Janet Lee Bergner, age 79, a resident of Des Plaines, Illinois for 52 years passed away February 23, 2022. Beloved wife of Patrick E. Bergner. Loving mother of Patrick J. (Deidre), Gregory, the late Gerald, and the late Jason Bergner. Proud grandmother of Ethan, Peyton, Julia, and Keira Bergner. Dear sister of the late Diane Martin. Janet was full of life in every possible way and a true force of nature. Fierce, smart and witty, her character was unmatched.

During her life she was many things - a real estate agent, a property manager, an HR administrator and was a keen investor along the way. She could play tennis, host parties, garden and have a suggestion or answer for just about anything. She could raise 4 rambunctious boys while managing a high school hockey team, all while mastering a perfect Italian sauce. Always looking for opportunities she kept her eye on the prize. She was planned and organized and could achieve her goals by staying true and steady.

Her sunsets and her beach were home and she enjoyed her friends, family and traveling the world with her love of 60 years. Family was paramount! She was a true mother bear. As a mom, she was one of a kind! Loving but realistic, she was truly perfect for her 4 boys. Her presence will be missed, but her impression is permanent and nothing short of legendary.
