Obituary

Penelope “Penny” A. Lupo, 76, of Sierra Vista passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, February 21, 2019 in Tucson.  Penny, daughter of the late Francis R. and Claudia (Johnson) Ulatowski, was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 17, 1942.

She was raised in Chicago and graduated from Schurz High School.  Penny went on to receive her Associates degree from Des Moines Community College. Penny worked as a secretary for many years at First Assembly of God in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Penny enjoyed quilting, was a longtime member of Mountainview Assembly of God, and resided in Sierra Vista for the past 16 years. In addition to her parents, Penny was predeceased by a son, James Keith Lupo.  She is survived by her husband, James T. Lupo, whom she married on April 15, 1961; a son Francis Brian Lupo; a brother; Francis William Ulatowski; and a grandson, Robbie Lupo.
