John Vittallo

After graduation I went to Wright Junior College. It was too difficult to work and go to school, so I decided to get a job in Sales knowing without a degree it would be hard to make the income I wanted to make. After three jobs in Sales, I ended up in wholesale Heating & Air Conditioning, after 2 years I was top salesman, and then after 5 years I decided to open my own wholesale business.I took out a loan on my second house for $5000.00 One year later I opened my first branch in Harvey IL by 1975. I bought my first corvette and in 1976 opened my second branch in Mount Prospect and by 1980 I opened my last branch in Skokie.

In 1993, I retired sold my company and was finally able to spend more time with my wife, Maryann, traveling and playing golf with my friends from Schurz.

I have two children John Jr. who is an Engineer at Motorola. Jacqueline who works for BP in the Environmental senior chairwomen. They both have their Master degrees. I have three granddaughters Alexis, Catherine and Emma whom bring me a tremendous amount of joy.

What is nice is that our reunion falls on the same week as my wedding anniversary it will be 46 years; so I plan to have double fun.

After my reunion,I Unfortunately,had go under Doctors care again.
Four things I regret ,working 12 hours a day and not spending that time with my children ,not going into the service.Not setting my golds higher .
