After high school I lived in Studio City/Hollywood Hills area for 20 years. During that time I was able to stay in close touch with Lynda Hess. Marriages, babies, etc. It was great.
In 1992 I moved to Atascadero, in San Luis Obispo County. In 1993 my husband and I split up. Since then my life has been consumed with working and raising my two terrific children. In June of '09 when my son graduates High School, I plan to re-evaluate my life. I may even leave the area. It will be my turn to start my life. Kind of scary, huh?
I still play the piano and sing. I even made a CD a few years ago in hopes of getting a "lounge gig" somewhere. Then my son got sick... and that went by the wayside. The good news is that he's fine. Maybe I'll try again someday. Once a ham... always a ham.
My mom and dad currently live in Bloomington, Indiana where they can be close to my brother Terry who is a professor at IU. My sister Debi lives in Santa Rosa and works for the Unitarian Church. So much for the Mason's!
Currently I sell insurance from 8 to 3 and from 3 to 9 I tend bar at the Elks Lodge. I am proud to say I became an Elk just last month. I love all the Patriotism stuff. ; )
School Story:
My greatest memories of school revolve around Roger Rickson. (My dad hired him and both my siblings had him in class too.) He loved nothing more that embarassing me in front of everyone, but at the same time forcing me to be as good as I could be. Steve Dahl may have won the chair... but I grew a lot in the process!!
The other thing I remember most about High School was that I was never part of just one "click". I liked being friends with everybody. Wow! What a novel concept!!!
