The O'Reilly author's page above is a semi-decent bio. Other than that, I lived in Dallas two or three times after graduation. I stayed in Austin for about ten years, jumped ship after I sold my interest in the investment banking firm I started (WPRC). I landed in Laguna Beach, California. I had good friends living there and they didn't have to sell me on staying.

I lived in Port Isabel across the bay from South Padre Island before moving to Paris to attend watch school. Decided to stay.

I turn 70 tomorrow and looking forward to the next decade. I have a girlfriend and may get married.

In 2006, I finally took the rites of the Catholic Church. So, I had a Bar Mitzvah when I turned 13. Did I convert or join family members on my dad's side?

School Story

During my senior year, we had a substitute homeroom and physics teacher. He wound up staying the two terms. He retired as a Navy captain and had some age on him. He would fall asleep every day during class and we would just leave. He gave us all high grades and I don't know why.

I taught guitar at Minsky's Music (remember him?) in Preston Forrest shopping center. Leaving physics early gave me some time to kibbitz.

Saturday, I celebrated the anniversary of my birth with a trip to McKinney from Paris. Saturday has special meaning since it represented Eastern vigil and Passover. 71 years ago, I became my parents first born and I have no doubts a bundle of trouble to a young woman 20 years old. What were they thinking? They certainly lacked the maturity to bring a child into the world. Those of us still celebrating birthdays, a tip of the hat. Thank you for any birthday wishes. I can always use the prayers! God bless you!
