Your Life Story:
I don't currently have a computer and gave my bio to Marilyn Gartner who entered it on this website so don't email me since I won't receive it.
I'm very pleased that we will be reuniting and looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.
I Left Holy Family around the 5th grade. Being the rowdy person I was (since then I've smoothed out), I went to Coindre Hall Boarding School from the 6-8th grades. Then I went to LaSalle Military Academy in Oakdale, LI.
After graduation, I went to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University to become a pilot. I received my private Pilots License but left after 2 years. Flying wasn't for me and I no longer fly. I guess my safety came first.
I came back to NY from Daytona Beach, FL and began working in the restaurant industry. I went back to Queensboro Community College and got an A.S. in Business Administration. I worked in both Local 6 and Local 100 hotel unions as a Waiter, Bartender, Captain and Manager in NYC's fine dining restaurants for 22 years.
Then I went into construction and had my own business for 12 years.
After that my mom, who is 87 now, had several strokes and I decided to retire and be her caretaker as it would be expensive to have someone watch her 24 hours a day.
I was married but the long hours in the restaurant business is not good for a healthy marriage.
Now I'm single, take care of Mom and keep busy remodeling our house. I also enjoy art work, play guitar and love gardening. I also bicycle and swim.
