September 10 & 11, 2011

A 2-part, mini, local, lunch/dinner get-together took place at the home of Mary Ann (Sparacio) & Sandy Santopadre on September 10th & 11th. Thanks to Mary Ann, Sandy & Mother Nature, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was amazing, and the weather was perfect.  Did I mention that the food was amazing? ... and plentiful .... and a treat to the palate.

Part 1: Here'e to the ladies who lunch

Patti Gaye Tompkins, Mary Ann (Sparacio) Santopadre, Stephanie Gallino, Joanne Naso, & Joanne (Gillen) Kiesel together again. Now here's the thing, Joanne Kiesel travelled the farthest to this "local gathering" and she seems always to show up with the most memorabilia. All the rest of us had to do was toss stuff in the back seat of our cars. Did we? Not!!!!  But Joanne packed it all up in a suitcase (albeit a giant one) and lugged it on and off a plane and through two airports.  Now that's something grand!!!!!!! Thanks for spreading the love!

Part 2: Afternoon turns to evening and here come the boys!!!!

John Hagedorn assists Joanne Naso in the search for Anthony Leonetti. We found him in the Federal Prison System in PA!!!!!!!  He gets out in June, 2012.  Should we plan a welcome back to freedom party???????  But where oh where did Joe Korwasky go?????? We do know, he is not sharing a cell with Anthony.  Ahhhhhh, what lots of good food and reminiscing can do for the imagination!!!!!

Okay, okay. We are absolutely certain that Joey is pointing at the message on Pattie's shirt! Love that slogan, Patti!!!!!!

It is almost time to say goodnight.  But wait, the girls get their 2nd wind and Mary Ann, Patti, Joanne & Joanne stay up until 3:30AM shooting the breeze.  It was worth losing sleep for!!!!!

Joey Armagno can't wait until Sal blows out the candles so he can dive into the cake.  Hey, where did John Hagedorn go? Holy Crap, he turned into a birthday cake! Sal Sinzieri stares at the 6 candles on the cake wondering if he is 6 or 60.  It's hard to remember at his age. Beth Hagedorn is hoping Sal blows out the candles before the wax melts into the icing.

Oh, there's John. He got tired of playing peek-a-boo and moved on to musical chairs. Roni Kupersmith is playing along as she and John wait for the music to stop. John Bianco is still smiling!

How great are those smiles from Joanne Gillen Kiesel, Stephen Michalowski, John Bianco and birthday boy, Sal. Aren't you glad you took care of those choppers after eating all that penny candy at Holy Family.

There wasn't enough to eat or drink at the restaurant, so some headed over to Mary Ann and Sandy Santopadre's place to have some more! John Bianco is STILL smiling!!!!! Mary Ann leans over the table to get a better look at Sal adjusting his glasses. Hey, is that the back of Bobby Furlani's head?  Where have you been Bob? Stephen Michalowski is still hanging in there.
