I moved to Connecticut right after high school for a very short period of time then onto Maryland and have been here since 1980. I married and divorced and had my eldest daughter from that marriage. I remarried in 1996 to my husband Rob and had 2 more children. I've been an insurance agent since 1989 (wasn't some thing I planned...just kind of happened) and have been since that time. I work for an independent agency locally & will be retiring December of 2018 just because I want to travel. Most remember me as a runner in school and I pretty much kept it up all these years. I competed for years in 5K - 10K distances which I prefer but have somewhat lost the desire to compete but not to continue running and training.

My eldest daughter Alyssa graduated from the University of Maryland in 2005 & now lives in Chicago. My 2nd oldest daughter Samantha, just got her associates of arts degree 12/2017 & is embarking on her next 3rd year of college. My youngest child, Andrew, graduated high school May of 2017 & later became a Marine September 2017, a commitment he made at the age of 7 he would fulfill. He has the patriotic gene in our family. We are proud of all our children & their accomplishments. Maryland has now become my home although I do miss my roots deeply.
