Comments:

Biggest thrill of my life other than my children's birth happened in November 2004. As you probably remember, I lived, breathed and died for the Boston Red Sox. I got to see Game # 1 at Fenway Park against St Louis in a series where I got one of my life's dreams - World Series Champions, at last.
Joined the Navy two weeks after graduation and retired as an Interior Communications Chief Pettty Officer (Surface Warfare) in 1999. I am currently teaching advanced electronics systems to sailors at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Illinois. It seemed like such a logical thing to do for me and it allows me to pass on what I learned in the fleet to the new sailors just embarking on thier careers. Plus it was a no brainer - teaching the same types of systems that I have been working on for 30 years now.
My travels have taken me all over the world - places that I never would have seen had I stayed in the Valley. Some of them include Rome, Paris, Instanbul. Marseille, Barcelona and Rio.

School Story:

A slight slam goes out to the Yearbook Staff-My picture and the other Mike's pictures are reversed. I am actually the one in the red sweater and not the one leaning against the tree. Also, I joined the Navy and not that lower service called the Army.

One of the biggest regrets I have from High School is that I really didn't hang out with my classmates and friends often, so I really don't have many that most of you would know.

There was the party of Fox Daigle's quonset hut my senior year. I had swiped a bottle of liquor from Mom's liquor cabinet and proceeded to get so messed up. Terry Rioux drove me home that night. I do remember getting out of the truck and falling face down in a snow drift and wanting to sleep there. My story stayed the same until my parents 50th party when the truth finally came out. All I had that night was a fifth of scotch, a few draft beers, wine and a styrofoam cup of Black Velvet. God, what a hangover that was!!!

Then there was the soccer trip to Brunswick. After the game, I went out partying with my host and some of his buddies. We went to a party after I had drunk a bottle of Southern Comfort and a few too many beers. After getting to my host's house, I stayed up till 5:30 AM with his sister and almost missed the team bus for the Elsworth game. Didn't play much on the team but was glad that this was a game I didn't play in because I was hungover and probably would have hurled all over the field.
