Since we left GHS I ended up living on my own, going to Junior College, and working towards going to a four year college. Once achieving that goal I ended up at SIU for one year going for a Biology degree. Facing the cold reality of organic chemistry, human physiology, and micro-biology, it became clear that I chose the wrong path. The next year I switched my major to Psychology and found my nitch. I later went back for a Masters degree in School Psychology and I am currently working at Oswego East High School. This school was built only four years ago and already we have over 2000 students. Far different from when we were in school and the only high school in Oswego was OHS, about 500 students and way out in no-man's land. In fact GHS has grown to about 2000 students as well, I believe.
Along the way I met my wife Diane (Wheaton Central Grad) got married in '97 and now have three lovely girls. We are celebrating our 11th year of marriage this June, going to the Jack Johnson concert at Alpine (oh the memories of Dead shows long gone).
I still keep in touch with Alan Schmeckpeper regularily and Frank Jablonski.
I am still a major Cub fan and have had the opporutunity to go to many games over the last seven years since moving back to this area. "Go Cubs Go!!!!" In addition I have a passionate dislike for the Cards, although I do cheer on the Sox when thay aren't playing the Cubbies.
I hope to make it to the reunion next fall, but it's too early to commit. Best wishes to all.
