I own a hot dog cart and sell outside drinking establishments late at night in a small, rural college town. I had previously printed a newspaper similar to The Luncheon News in GF here for 13 years.

I began my post-college work career as a Sports Information Director at The Univ. of the Pacific, an asst. SID at the Univ. of Illinois-Chicago and as an SID here at Western Illinois University.

I served a 7-year tour of duty at three universities in my quest for a bachelor's degree, which I finally obtained from Western Illinois Univ. in 1988 in Journalism/Public Relations. I started my college career at Kansas State, returned to UND, then finished at Western Illinois.

After working for five years, I returned to WIU and got a Master's Degree in Sports Management in 1995.

I have been a volunteer firefighter for nine years and currently serve as Safety Officer.

Never married & no kids, so therefore I still have my hair and very little of it is gray.

Not sure anyone thinks it's a funny story, but I can't let the tomato incident go untouched, can I?

Getting a ticket for doing donuts in the gravel parking lot during a football game as a sophomore -- as the cloud of dust floated over the field.

Getting arrested in Devils Lake when we went there for a hockey game, because we had to move our beer for the way home from the trunk to the car so it wouldn't freeze.

Ski club bus trips
