Yay! I wish I could be too but I do have about 14 weeks to go...I guess that would be a bit early! :) Good luck!

Good luck Steph & Kalen!

Conjugate your french verbs through the contractions! Picture Mrs. Marks and the way that little spot on her nose would move drop when speaking the nous and vous form. She's a teacher a would swigs a martini with...

Bon chance salirez vos enfants con dificultad--Good luck squeezing out your babies! (Kalen sit patiently for many weeks and let Steph go first.)

Don't pigeonhole me Steele! I can't be Jack or Sawyer! I'm a little of both. I'm a jerk like Sawyer and a whiner like Jack. :P

Actually, if I was anyone, I'd be the science teacher who exploded in season 1.

Congrats to all you baby producers!

Did anyone take pictures last Friday when you all met at the Bar? I bet there are lots of us that would love to see them!

Now you're talkin'! I'll start eating and stop...errr...moving altogether so I can train for the part! Can we hold off the crash for a few months until I'm in better "shape" (shape being round)?

Well that only took 19 years! Treena (as you may recall) is a former Manitowoc Ship....I guess I get to rub this one in for a while....at least until next year when we get the *%#! pounded out of us again!

I'm having a 1984 kind of morning - my 9 year old got his first ipod shuffle in celebration of being an off-the-charts soccer star [gotta brag.]

and he can't stop listening to...

..thriller.

the whole album.

what have i done??

:)

Did you tell him that you owned the 12 inch vinyl version? Make sure to have a camera available to capture the dumbfounded look on his face.

I think that's the first album I ever bought. I couldn't admit it back then because I would have been teased for being a boy who liked Michael Jackson. But I'm coming clean, everybody! I owned Thriller!

Hee hee! I much preferred "Weird" Al! I have to admit that I liked country for my two pre-accident years in Missouri and I actually wore a pair of Nike's (in my defense I did not pay for them!). Fortunately, I have since regained my sanity, country and nike bad, 80's rock and Reebok good!

Brian -

Alarmingly, the OTHER thing my son listens to is Weird Al.

I know, I know... this from the mom who has a music degree and got to solo at Royal Albert Hall. I can't help it. The 80's were too great for us to let our kids miss out.

;)

Hey everyone, I wanted to share some news with everyone and in particular those who know my Mom. In July of 06 she was diagnosed with breast cancer that came on very quickly and spread to liver almost instantly. She immediately under went treatment that brought her cancer under control. However the doctors warned that it would come back and when it did it would comeback with a vengeance. Right around 3 weeks ago she was having severe pains in her back and her doctor ordered a CT Scan due to her history. The scan showed that her cancer has returned and has spread dramatically. This caught my family completely off guard as a scan just two months ago was clear of any significant signs of cancer. The cancer has returned to her liver and has spread to her lungs, colon, muscles around her heart, and there is a tumor near her kidney. She has restarted treatment but she is now in a fight for her life due to the ferocity of her cancer. We are hopefully that the treatment will work but the outlook is not good. If you know my Mom you know the amazing person she is and I would ask that you please keep her in your prayers in the weeks ahead. I have made last minute plans to come home for Thanksgiving with my boys to spend time with my Mom, so if anyone is heading that way give me a shout as I would love to hook up.

Jeff: I will keep yo and your family in my thoughts in the trying times ahead. I am sorry for the emotional pain on your part and the physical for your mother. Neither, can be understood until experienced.

Steph: Bad news Steph....I listened to Thriller...you mght just have a FABULOUS boy in the family! Hey why not on facebook...you owe a note to the rents in Arizona and John Mcain! NOT!

Okay... I have just killed off an hour reading and catching up here. I'm supposed to be working on some of my class videos, but this is more interesting.

Here are some of my thoughts on high school and life since then:

1. Why in the world was I in the choir when I couldn't sing?

2. I find it funny (can you sense the sarcasm?) that the musical our Senior year was OKLAHOMA and now I am living where the wind goes sweeping down the plain!

3. Will I ever get the "Together Forever" pom routine out of my head?

4. I remember creative writing class with Mark Polomis... and something about a bear skin rug???

5. Do you remember Mr. Conard? He made us eat sheep brains in Sociology while he sang Roy Orbison songs. Dennis Buehler and I had class together and Mr. Conard always tried to hook us up! Love ya Dennis LOL.

6. When I returned to Southwest as a teacher, I used to have lunch with Ms. Marks... she hasn't changed a bit. Steve... she even brought your name up on day!!! LOL She would totally party with us.

Steph - congrats on the new addition to the family.

Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion.

Colleen -

1) Who actually thought I could "sing"....in Oklahoma, Canada, Green Bay or anywhere else!

2) Ah, Mr. Conrad....oh what could have been dear friend....love ya too! ;)

Can't wait to see everyone one as well!
