I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from NCSU in 1983 and while there I met and married a wonderful woman, Tammy. We just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. After college I went to Orlando, FL to work for (what was to become) Sprint. Four years later, we came back to NC and I started my career in the filtration industry with a company in little Washington, NC. Kids came along and we moved to the eastern shore of Maryland for a short stay. I then had an opportunity to go to southern California. We lived in Manhattan Beach, CA until the company was purchased and my paycheck moved to NJ. We agreed to try it and we quickly realized we can live in the country and only be 25 miles from NYC.
God has given us a great life and even though I am a diehard Steelers fan, it was fun to be this close and watch the Giants win the Superbowl...
2010: My daughter is now a Junior at Florida State - go ACC and my son now a Freshman at The Ohio State University - Rose Bowl Champs.
I live in NJ, but I still speak Southern as my first language...
I am the director of Research and Development for Camfil Farr. We are the largest HVAC filtration company in the world with 29 plants worldwide. I travel extensively to visit customers and our operations.
We are all getting old. I planned on running a 1/2 marathon this year, but my knee thought otherwise. It looks like surgery later this month...
