After GRC went on to Purdue in West Lafayette and graduated in 1978. Still make time to get back to the football and basketball games every year. Boiler up!
Anyway, went to work in the mills and subsequently spent the next 15 years in the steel business until 1993. Eventually started my own construction company with family members and have been building homes and rental units since that time.
Have traveled extensively throughout much of the country and sailed on a couple of cruises to Alaska and the Carribean. Try to get to Vegas and Lake Tahoe at least once a year. Our family owns places in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota so that makes for many long weekend and holiday trips. Currently doing a bit of skiing and snowmobiling with my brother. It is winter, of course. Try to get to a couple of NASCAR races each year, usually Joliet, Indy, Michigan and/or Daytona.
Like to jetski out on Lake Michigan with Rich Bobby (that we don't do enough of!) and play golf together as much as possible in the summer. I love to cycle on the trails out here in Porter County. I also spend some time hiking in the dunes and out along the lakeshore.
Rich and I keep up with Ray Papach down in Wilmington, NC. We try to get down there once in a great while for one big, bad, ugly drunken weekend. I guess some of us just never grow up!
Rich and I are fortunate enough to get to alot of rock concerts. Mellencamp, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Boston, Buffet(well, maybe he's not a rocker! LOL)Who, Stones, Bon Jovi, AC/DC to name a few. Great times all the time.
Typical Cubs, Sox, Bears, Bulls and Hawks games thrown in for good measure. Outside of that, don't do too much else. Again, LOL.
