Matt Donahoe

I have been living, with my partner, in the city of Atlanta for a year and a half. We have been together for eight and a half years. I have been teaching elementary school for 12 years. My first ten years were in Indiana (Greater Clark - 1 year/ West Clark - 9 years). I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University Southeast, a Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and my Administrative Certification from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am currently teaching in the Rockdale County Schools (just outside of Atlanta). My plan is to teach the remainder of this year and then secure an assistant principal's position.

My fondest memories are hanging out with my friends at ballgames, dances, the Shell station, at each other's houses or just cruising the back roads. I will always remember all of our successful Golden Band years! Good times! Rhonda Hester (Bottorff), Shelly McNay (Furnish) and I would eat at Chi Chi's quite a bit. Rhonda and I always told our server that it was Shelly's birthday. The look on her face never got old when they surprised her with a "birthday cake."
