My time in Hikone Japan was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had and will always remember. I would encourage anybody who is thinking of doing a study abroad, especially if going through MSU, JCMU Program to Japan. Words cannot express the time I had, with the people and the places I saw, that I was fortunate enough to experience. Japan is a magical country with beautiful people.

If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would jump on it with out a second thought. It would be accurate to say that much of that experience had changed me enough to make me the person I am today. I was humbled by the many people and extraordinary sites I saw. My mother would have loved to hear of my experiences as she had once also been fortunate enough to have traveled to Japan and if not for her it would have never happened.

In memory of my mother Ana Maria Magaña Larrivey....Died August 27 1998. She will always be remembered for generations of my family and will always live in my heart forever.
