Susan and I had some classes together throughout school the last being high school chemistry with Mr. Armstrong our senior year. We also went to the same church and had confirmation together. But as a curious twist of fate, she married Craig Foster who was a young guy I coached in legion baseball when I was living in Burnsville during my college years.

Foster, Susan Louise Swanson age 75, of Hopkins, MN, June 5, 1946 - February 28, 2022. Survived by son Eric Foster and daughter Karin Vavrichek; grandchildren Nicholas Foster, MaKenna Vavrichek, and Bennett Vavrichek; sister Nancy Tischbein, brothers David (Gail) Swanson, and Timothy (Jill) Swanson; and a large extended family. Preceded in death by son David Foster, parents Gilbert and Louise Swanson, brothers Paul Swanson, Thomas Swanson, and Jon Swanson. Service to be held 4/16 at 1pm, Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Hopkins. All are welcome.
