Terry Jacobsen always told me he was in the Air Force, stationed at an Air Base in the eastern US. Could verify with Marsha, as they were married at the time, I believe.

Greg, I too believe Terry Jacobson was in the Air Force. He maay have been a PJ, pararescue in the Nam. Also, I was surprised that Jay Nankevell wasn't on the list. I believe he was active duty in the Air Force as an air traffic controller moving to the reserves after he began working for the FAA. Think he retired from the Air Force reserves and the FAA. Hello to all the classmates of the class of Hopkins High School 1964.

This is the “SURVIVOR REUNION”. We lasted over 77 years. We worked, played, invested, traveled and some grew a family with grandchildren. NOW is the time to re-unite with your classmates to tell a story or merely greet a friend from the past.

The Elks club is a great venue. They will provide banquet type food with an open “you pay” bar. All this is only $20 donation entry fee per person. Bring your spouse or your friend for $40.00. The committee wants as many as possible to attend this re-union event.

To cover some of the cost the “committee“ is asking for any who can/ is willing to add a donation up to but not to exceed $100.00. In-lieu of an entry donation payment.

When you come to the 60^th reunion (you are coming, right?) in a private room at the Hopkins Elks Club on September 14^th, bring any photos, posters, or memorabilia you may have of that time period that may evoke a memory. It doesn’t matter what it may be of. It could be a photo of:

And Kent Nerburn has published several books with us, maybe a dozen, and some other books with other publishers. Both of us have recently written our first novels, and will be publishing them soon — though Kent has a Native American trilogy we've published that are really more novels than non-fiction — they're 3 beautifully written books: NEITHER WOLF NOR DOG, THE WOLF AT TWILIGHT, and THE GIRL WHO SANG TO THE BUFFALO. He's a great writer, and I'm proud to be his publisher."

GREGORY W BITZ: Extensive publications / books. Greg has been active for many years on a national stage with his work. His writings, after his duty to country, are very insighful. We might remember Greg's work on "THE WALL" in 1964.

JOHN W JOHNSON: Published many articles over his carreer at Northern University of Iowa in Cedar Falls IA You might remember John's mesasage regarding our 50th HHS class reunion.

I was searching for information on a 1981 Eisenhower

grad who has been officially missing for 38 years

and was declared dead years ago &

I found Steven Shimoto's picture alongside

of the last known photo of author

David Bird Thomson.

Minnetonka has two missing people on the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs).

David Bird Thomson went missing July 4, 1979,

when he was 34.

He was last seen standing by Highway 7 and Williston Road

in Minnetonka

with a backpack and no other belongings.

After he was last seen, he worked briefly in Denver and Casper, WY, in 1979.

Thomson would now be 66 years old (79 BY gw: 2025).

He is described as a white man who’s 5-feet-8-inches to

5-feet-11-inches tall and 175 to 185 pounds.

Steven Edward Shimota disappeared April 20, 1985,

when he was 21 years old.

The details of his disappearance aren’t listed.

He would now be 50 years old.(60 2025 BY gw 2025)

He’s described as a white man who’s 5-feet-11-inches tall and 170 pounds.
