Degrees in Technology, Management, and Business, earned on active duty with Air Force and Coast Guard. Worked in reconnaissance, photo, electronics, navigation, communications and IT. Retired from the USCG in 2001, working in DHS, DoD, Space Command, NASA, SOUTHCOM, Coast Guard, Border and Maritime Security since then.

Shortly after moving to Florida from Maine, I got caught smoking in the Boys Room. When brought to the Dean of Boys, I told him I didn't know it was against the rules here. He looked at me, and asked, "was it OK in Maine?" I admited it wasn't. He said, "3 Swats or 3 days." I asked, "If I take the swats, do you tell my dad?" He answered, "Nope!". I took the three swats, no contest.
