Comments:

Well I graduated from Marquette University in 1992 with a degree in Business/Organizational Mgmt. I married Matthew in January 1993 and immediately moved to Chapel Hill, NC where he was attending graduate school at UNC. I worked at GTE during that time supporting their regional retail products group. After his master's degree we moved back to WI. In 1997 we had Miranda and then soon moved to Columbus, OH so that he could enter the Phd prgm in Ancient History. I worked at Chase Home Finance for over 8 years working in IT Vendor Management. During that time I had two premies. Sophia (2001)at 30 weeks, 1.5 pounds. And then again Grace (2003)at 32 weeks, 2.5 pounds. Both were relatively healthy but incredibly small and Grace came home on a monitor. We did not have any long term effects from the prematurity other than low immune systems so lots of colds brought home from the 6 year old which lasted in our house about 5 months.

I currently am working as a IT Project Analyst at Anthem on large scale software implementations. I am a busy mom with kid activities such as soccer and gymnastics. Also I am involved in our local Sustainable Worthington (Columbus suburb)which is working on making Worthington a green city. I remember Guerin telling the class Jr year during the 60's projects that if anyone would have been a hippie with her crazy liberal ideas it would have been me and I guess he was right. I am leading a project working to involve the school districts in creating community garden plots and to use the food as part of their lunch programs.

Matthew will be finishing his Phd in History in May so who knows where that will take us. His plan is to teach at the college level, so we go where the job is. Ah well, life is an adventure!

School Story:

One of the strongest memories is how we reacted to Mr Guerin leaving and we had the new guy whose name I cant remember. But he walked in the first day and started using those damn overheads. We had all been used to Guerin's "get out your notebook and listen to what I say and take notes" style since sophomore year and we just ran right over that poor guy. We gave him no respect, told him that as seniors we didnt need hall passes, walked out on class and held an "egg symposium" in the hallway during homecoming week. Mrs Jess was so impressed (or stunned that we used the word symposium correctly)with our excuse for sitting around the hallway that she actually let us get away with it. I even remember Kali, Jon Fisher, myself and a few others skipping class one morning, having breakfast at the Pine Cone and bringing him back a donut!
