Dawn Turner Meadows

Went to SPSCC for a year after high school (full ride scholarship to play softball); studying accounting. Decided I would "take some time off and go back later." HA! Moved to Tillamook OR in 1995 or so and lasted there for about 8 years (where I met my daughters' father playing softball). It's a great place to visit; wouldn't recommend living there unless you want everyone to know when you sneeze!! Moved back home in 2003.

Lived with Kristen Beagley (Ridgeway) for a while. Starting working at Berschauer Phillips Construction Co. until April 2008, in Olympia. I went back to Pierce College, taking construction classes and began the Project Management course online at UW. I will be done with those next summer. Now I work with SAK Construction in Puyallup and am totally loving it!! I do accounting, contract administration...even taxes (UGH!!); basically a LOT of everything. I am totally liking NOT having to commute anymore!!

Haven't played softball in a while. We spend lots of hours watching our kids play sports now; baseball, basketball, football, soccer..... My husband plays flag football, too. We tend to stay busy rain or shine!!

Hmmm...let's see, my one and only wreck (into an off duty cop) with Nikki Crist our Freshman year; what a way to start out!! Softball was always fun; losing in the (1st ever for NTHS) State Championship softball tourney sucked but the parties afterwards were fun!! Tori's parties, when her parents were gone were always a hoot, too! Sleeping out on the baseball fields for our Senior night out....it was all good!!
