School Story:

I'll never forget Mr. Parson's 7th grade core class and playing Jeopardy in teams against each other. I had to leave Moore High School when my family moved to the inner city, and it broke my heart. I'll always remember Chris playing Vincent and making me fall in love with Don McLean, and going to a party where Debbie played Daisy a Day on her guitar - a song I play now in my band, Misspent Uke. I had such a crush on Andy Partee, I still blush to think of it and had so very very many friends and many memories that I often recall whilst talking to my friends and family now. (Sure, Al.) No, really.

Since memories keep happening,
Each day can be the start
Of making new and happy ones
To fill within the heart.

I remember Mr. Parsons!! I still remember how I answered a question during the Jeopardy game. What war was depicted M.A.S.H.? Korean war. He drove a Volkswagen Karman-Gia.
The class was fun and I learned a lot.

Pat was a good friend and used to come over to parties at my house as we lived on the same street, and might just show up to play air hockey or basketball, and of course swimming at Hi-Li and general mischief. Our back door was always unlocked and he just come on down to the basement to see if anyone was around. When we were all in 7th grade I wrote a simple limerick about him and Mike.

Pat lived at Mike's house and Mike was Pat's brother

They looked very much just like one another

Some found this confusing,

I thought it amusing

'Cause I knew one twin from the other !

I think of the brothers often x

I was so very sad to see Johnny Pike has gone. His cheeky demeanour and friendship meant a lot to me when we were young.
