Sharon A. Anderson of St. Johns County, FL, formally of Glastonbury, CT, passed away on October 18, 2022 at the skilled nursing facility where she resided since August 2021. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gordon Anderson, and their three children and spouses; Debra and Mel Siebold of Fleming Island, FL; Kathleen and Charles Clayville of St. Johns County, FL; & Mark and Jen Anderson of Wethersfield, CT. "Nana" had five beloved grandsons (Kyle Siebold, Aidan Siebold, Logan Siebold, Samuel Anderson, and Alexander Anderson) along with many adoring relatives, colleagues, and friends who will forever remember her loving smile and indelible spirit. Sharon was born September 8, 1944, in Manchester, CT, the daughter of James and Margaret Anderson, who predeceased her, along with her older "Bubby" Jim Anderson. She was a graduate of Manchester High School and Mt. Ida College. For many years she worked for the Christian Conference of CT before spending the last 19 years of her professional life at the Archdiocese of Hartford. At Sharon's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral. Sharon will be interred at Fairview Cemetery in West Hartford, CT, and a memorial mass will be held in CT at a later date, to celebrate this fine soul whom the Lord now holds in the hollow of His hand.
