Al was a warm friendly sweet guy and he was a pleasure to have for a friend.  It is so sad that most of us lose touch with our high school friends over the years.  I will treasure the memories of our high school years. Rest in Peace.  Sending deepest sympathy to the family.

Al and I had many connections throughout our high school years. I loved his dry sense of humor with steady disposition.  I recall some laughs even at his wedding to another close family and personal friend. Then, as in too many, many other cases, the drift apart. When our latest reunion was being planned I noted he had signed up and was thrilled; unfortunately that reunion was lost at sea. I am sure he knows that our times will not be forgotten.
