Gail Peterson, 70, of Rockville, also known as Meme, passed away March 4, 2015. She was born May 20, 1944, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Myron and Laura (Skinner) Lee. She spent most of her days doing what she loved to do, which was being a correctional officer. She retired after 22 years from Carl Robinson Correctional Facility. In her later days she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Meme was loved by many and will be missed dearly.She leaves behind her daughter, Brenda Peterson, and son-in-law, Greg Thomas, of Rockville; sister Nancy Lee, of Rockville; brother Richard Lee, of Manchester; granddaughters Tinisha Peterson, of Hartford, and Jaime Sweeny, of Rockville; grandson Gregory Thomas Jr., of Rockville; great-grandson Taron Scott, of Hartford; and other family and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Peterson; and great-grandson, Myron Lamar Dawson.
