George Joseph Nolan, passed away at his home Monday, January 22, 2018 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; he was 73. He is survived by his wife Dianne, four children Kelly, Kevin, Chris and Jack, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 1, 1945, and graduated from Manchester HS (Connecticut) in 1962. After High School the draft came calling and he served two years in the US Army, which also included a year-long tour in Vietnam. After the Army he obtained BA in history at UCONN. George married Dianne Hagelin on March 30, 1970 in Tolland, Connecticut and they left the East for Montana.
