Sandra J. Santos 76, beloved wife of Jon M. Santos passed away peacefully on April 7, 2021 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1944 in Manchester daughter of the late Charles & Olga (Ponticelli) Robinson. She graduated from Manchester High School and received her Associate Degree from Morris College. Sandra loved children so she decided to open a home day care.
Along with her beloved husband Jon she also leaves two sons Michael C. And Meghan P. Santos of Newburyport, MA and Peter Jon Santos of Manchester: two grandchildren Todd Michael Santos and Ella Olive Santos: and a sister Cheryl Robinson.

Sadly, I never really knew Sandy in High School, but I always admired her because she stood up for who she was and always seemed to have a smile when I saw her. I did get to know her many years later after I got my two Mini Schnauzer rescue dogs, and she stopped her car to chat with us while we were out walking. I was so grateful that she had done this, and continued to do so on a regular basis for several years. I was glad that she had stopped and that we had become such good friends over our dogs. I always wished that it could have been a bit more, perhaps lunch at the Shelter where my wife Dale worked or something innocuous like that, but she kept it at the dogs. RIP Sandy.
