Kathy was so smart. She always knew the answers. She always had that tightly wadded up tissue in her hand. Looking back, I think she might have suffered with allergies. When you approached her she was very friendly. You will be missed at the reunion- God bless you Kathy!

Kathy and I both lived in Cincinnati after college, so I had the opportunity to stay in touch with my first cousin.

Kathy had a tough way to go, battling cancer for close to 15 years (lung, and later breast). She was diagnosed in the late 80's, at the same time she lost her job running the outpatient dept. at Jewish Hospital when the hospital downsized. I admired Kathy for her continual fortitude, courage, and perseverance.

Rather than feel sorry for herself, Kathy continued to find ways to volunteer, help others, and enjoy her nieces and nephews scattered in several states. She also helped celebrate with us when my daughters rec'd the sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation.

Kathy was smart, patient, quiet, and perfectly capable of standing up for herself when she needed to set her doctors straight. What I cherish the most about her was her kindness.

We miss your compassionate spirit, Kathy, but know you are having a blast being reunited with all the loved ones preceding you - love, Deb

I really appreciate learning about Kathy, but wish I could have met her again and heard stories from her about her career...

Only found out about Kathy 2 weeks ago. I hope she didn't suffer too bad. She was a good friend. She helped me with homework and we
both were going to go to nursing school together. WEll, she made it of course. She'll be very missed.
