Helen Stefance Carroll

Attended Napa Colllege, graduated from Sac State with a degree in Physical Education. Married Mike Carroll, in 1970 and together raised our three children. Taught elementary P.E. for 23 years, managed family rental business for 13 years and am now retired and do volunteer work for a women's club that I belong to.
Mike and I have 11 grandchildren from 25 to 2. They all keep us busy between babysitting and all their activities.
We currently reside in the Green Valley area of Fairfield.

The funniest and most memorable incident I can remember was that a fellow male classmate who was a friend of mine and who shall remain nameless, put a smoke bomb in Mrs. McAbeer's car by attaching it under the hood somewhere. Her car was parked out behind the music room and when she came out after school and started it, smoke just came pouring out everywhere. It really attracted a crowd of both teachers and students. She of course threatened the expulsion of the student responsible. She never found out who did it.
