I am very sorry to hear of Carol's demise. I recall her well, especially her inspiring piano playing in our grade eight music class at Sutherland.  An old friend of our family, Maxine Vasseur (Paul's mom), lived across the street from Carol in Capilano Highlands. Years ago Maxine told me of a magical summer evening when, upon leaving her house, she heard the hauntingly beautiful 'Clair de Lune" coming from Carol's house and wafting out over the neighborhood.  It was Carol at the keyboard, weaving her magic. I know the event only vicariously but it is a beautiful memory for me too.

I, also, remember Carol from Sutherland days, and also from Highlands United Church where she played the organ, I believe.   We lived on Ridgewood Drive, not far from the Richardsons' and the thought of her playing Claire de Lune makes a beautiful memory.

I remember Carol very well. She played the piano so wonderfully. In earliest years she was close friends with another gifted musician, Curtis Williams. Sadly, Curtis lost his life at too young an age. My thoughts are for the family and this lovely person who I'm certain was a truly fine parent and grandparent.
