Comments:
After high school I went to Elon University and studied Special Education. I met Ryan my senior year. We moved to Los Angeles, where I taught children with autism for a few years. We got married in 2004, and moved to the Bay Area in 2005. I taught for another year and then began working at the administrative level as the Elementary Autism Specialist for the San Francisco Unified School District. I am now the Director of Special Education at Oakland School for the Arts.
