Here is what I have been doing for 20 years... in 20 seconds. Loyola, Chicago for nursing. I met my husband there. We have been married for 9 years and now have this riot of a little boy. I am lucky to have both of these amazing men in my life (but actually still a bit shocked that I am a married parent with a mortgage- never on my radar to do). We lived in Connecticut for 3 years and happily moved back to Chicago over 5 years ago. I worked in research at NYU medical center. In Chicago I went back to Northwestern but was getting burnt out and when I got pregnant with Fintan, I went for my real estate lic... I grew up in it, so it was inevitable! We live in Uptown and love it. My mom is on the north side now (she moved out of Palos a few years after my father passed) as is most of my family, and she is all about being Nana to her grandchildren.
If anyone is in the hood and up for a drink, my brother Brendan is opening another bar up this way in the late fall!
