Thanks again to Barb for putting this huge party together, and Mike, Lori, Laura, Sandy, etc for helping out as well...you guys did an AMAZING job and it was a blast!!! Can we do it again in 5 years instead of waiting 10 more??! :)
It was sooo great to see everyone!! Everyone looks so great, and seems to be doing really well too- beautiful families too! Congrats!! And if anyone is coming out for a Cali trip please, shoot me an email, seriously :) I'd love to see you!!! I usually feel so far away, so it was
really nice to reconnect with everyone- thanks for a fantastic weekend!!!
Take care!!! XO Gina

What a great time seeing everyone! Friday night was great and Saturday was just too short even for us folks that went to the downstairs bar afterwards!! I didn't even get to talk to a ton of people. So yes a more casual 5 year may be in order. Thanks to everyone for coming and big kudos to those out of town folks for making the extra effort. It was great!

I agree, great job by all!! I'm so glad we made the trip up from Austin. It was definitely too short of a stay!
It was great reconnecting with folks and see how far we have all come in 20 years!

Thank you so much to the folks who put the party together as well as Mike for this website. I made the trip from Florida and had such a nice time with everybody. I know it is hard work to put something like this together - and it is much appreciated. Hopefully there will be a 25th!

It was definitely worth the trip from Atlanta. Between the game, the tour and the afterparty I was completely spent on Sunday and felt old....Oh wait I am old. Had reservations about the whole uniform thing but lost a bet to the wife and...well a deal is a deal. The DJ was great and the Beth Cole, Carrie Lindsay sandwich was a bit of a shock but flattering nevertheless. Thank you fellow alumni for continuing to remind me of where I come from and impressing the hell out of my little cali gal wife with your warmth and passion for a good party. was that night surreal or what?

i ,too, had such a wonderful time. i tried to get a few minutes with everyone and before i knew it - the night was over. i am glad to hear from everyone that they had fun because that's what it was all about. i hope that everyone has re-grouped since sat and make sure you all stay connected with those that you re-connected with. life's too short to let another 20years go by...
we'll keep this site open and hopefully keep the communication open between everyone.
great to see everyone ~ laura

Another thank you to everyone that worked so hard to put this together! I had a blast, as I'm sure did everyone else! The game was fun too, and I even had an orange glow stick to throw on the field to allow Sutor to reminisce about the whole "Flair on the field" incident, but there just didn't seem to be a moment to do it and have it be funny! :P (Ah, just as well... Probably best to not have to post bail the day of the reunion!)

And in regards to a casual local thing, there's a Wednesday night hang at 191 South, barely up the street from where the reunion was on October 8th! (It's on 191st, just on the opposite side of LaGrange.) I know I'm going, as well as Lisa Gibson, possibly Tracey Leschin (schedule permitting), as well as several Sandburg alumnists from different years and some that didn't get to stay at Sandburg all four years! (Remember Mike Donnells? Jenny Kirby? Joe O'Connor?) All are welcome! I agree with everyone that the night just seemed to short, and since I am officially in town until at least January, I plan on hanging out to the wee hours of "last call" with whoever is not to "old" or "responsible" to do so! (I also start rehearsing with a new band today, so I will keep everyone posted on shows for that as well, as soon as I learn all the new tunes!) ;)

And who knows? Mike Cozzie & I might just whip together a set of acoustic tunes, and do a local coffeehouse gig for grins & giggles! ;)

THANKS again to all you guys who put this reunion together! (Barb, Mike, Laura, Lori, Sandy, Danielle, etc.) I know it was a lot of work but you guys did an AWESOME job and it was very much appreciated! It was great to reconnect with everyone that I’ve lost touch with and I agree, the night went by way too fast. Everyone looks great and I am happy to hear that life is treating everyone well.

Debbie

P.S. Hey Jason are you still up for the challenge of planning the next one? haha

Quick question..is there a public folder (not profile) on this site we can go to to upload pics from the weekend? I think it would be great for us to all be able to load out favorites for everyone to view. Classmates.com has something like that but I'd prefer to load my photos here.

Great question. Does anyone know of any other options? Flickr, Shutterfly, Snapfish with a link from here? I'll take a look around to see what this free site can do. In the mean time, you can either upload them to your profile or email the photos to me (keep it clean Traub) and I'll create a special section this weekend.

I appreciate the thanks for my very minor role in handing out the incredibly important drink-bands, but all the credit goes to Barb, Laura, and Mike. They sure do know how to throw a party. I'm all in favor of a 25 year reunion, and will be more than happy to hand out the drinks tickets again.

Oh, and since I missed the football game, any comments on the pom-pon girls? Can they hold a candle to the '88 Eaglettes?

It really was a wonderful experience seeing and talking to so many old friends. Best Wishes to Everyone!!

I see that Mary Malloy posted a message that I'm organizing a party at 191 South on October 8th. I'm sorry, but this is misinformation. Mark--my plans with my sisters fell through and I didn't even speak to anyone else, so it looks like you've been the busy party planner. I hope you guys have fun!

Thanks Mike and Barb (and others) for the great job doing the reunions! It was great seeing folks again and hearing about their success stories and spouses/children. (Thanks to those who put their careers into the military service.)
I agree with Louie that updates/photos here would be better than classmates.com which is a p.i.a. website.

What a BLAST!! But I did't drink nearly enough, once i started talking to people I forgot all about the booze. It sure was fun and thanks to Barb Mike and Laura for getting it together even after being shafted by DiNolfos. You do not realize until your high school days are long gone that those are some of the best friends that you will EVER have. you spend 5 days a week with them for 9 months a year, for 4 years. Unless you are in the military thats about the most time you spend with people/friends, even more than college. It's ashame to loose touch with so many great people. Does any one hear from Paul Frigo?? Thanks again, JEFF REIS

Sorry your sister plans fell through! Didn't mean to start runnin' before the ball was snapped! :P But we're still going on with the 8th, and if you're out & about, we'd love for you to stop by!
...and stop calling me mary... :P

I do see and talk to Mr. Paul Frigo on a regular basis. He is currently married and is working as a divorce attorney in Mokena. No kids or pets but has stayed active in the music scene.

WOW! Too funny...who posted these beauties? I can't wait to see pictures from the reunion since I'm a big fat loser & couldn't make it! I have to admit that I am completely addicted to this website & checking out everyone's beautiful families.

Hey, y'all! Just letting everyone know that our little get-together is still on for tonight for anyone who cares to join us! It's @ 191 South, off 191st past LaGrange towards Mokena! (Think the opposite side of LaGrange from the reunion!) we're gonna say from 8:30 'til the wee hours of "Last call" for whoever makes it that long! So far we've got a small but mighty group of around 7 or so meeting down there, but the more the merrier! ;) Hope to see some familiar faces again tonight!

I was told that there were pics of me on this site so today I decided to take a look. I cannot name one place that any picture of me was taken. I think I really was drunk through all of HS. Unfortunately I missed the reunion but I did get several recaps on the night from some of the attendees. It sounds like I missed a real good time.

Hi Everybody!

I am asking for some help in the chance for me to win a recording contract.

I've hovered in the top 5 artists (#1 at one point) in Christian artists at this site:

http://www.urlabel.net/artist/coz

Would you please consider going to this page and clicking on the 'vote' button? All you have to provide is an email address and confirm a vote for 'Coz'!

Also, feel free to leave a comment!

I appreciate all the help I could possibly get. And please, spread the word via email contacts, etc.

Thanks so much!

God Bless,

Mike (Coz)
