The information about Ron Ellis were supplied by Lolan Ellis, Ron's brother. Lolan lives in Alameda, CA. 
Ronald Ellis was born on March 15, 1944 and died on August 24, 2017 at the age of 73. He is survived by Coleen Hemphill, his wife, and by Ron Peirce and Debra Brock, his adopted children.
Ron enjoyed Equador very much. Lolan was there in 2015 for three months and did a lot of sight-seeing with Ron, both just enjoying life. Ron bought a farm in Cotacachi, a two hour drive north of the capital, Quito. He lived there about five years.

I was very sorry to hear about Ronald. We had a wonderful class at Pampa High School and Ronald was a big part of it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Thanks to all of you! Ron spoke of some of his classmate every once in a while and we would often wondered what they were doing. I was surprized that Ron had not signed up on this class web site. I'd like to know if Dale Coffin is still around?

My thoughts and prayers are with Ronald's family. We were classmates and friends from the 7th grade until we graduated. Ronald was always fun to be around and was there if you needed him. We were in the Pride of Pampa Band and had many fun band trips. May our Lord be with your family in this time of great sorrow. Blessings, Sandy
