Felicia Civale Marianiello, PHS Class of 1968, passed away on March 26, 2016 at The New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital Center after a long illness. Felicia had lived in Peekskill most of her life. She attended Uriah Hill Elementary as well as Haldane. She returned to Peekskill in ninth grade to graduate from PHS in 1968. Felicia went on to Hofstra University and then graduated with a BA in English from Briarcliff College.
After college she worked in White Plains, NY at AT and T as an international operator. In Peekskill, NY, she worked in customer service for Con Edison. Before her retirement, she examined claims in the Medicare division for Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Yorktown Heights, NY.
She is survived by her brother Carmine Civale and his wife Marion, and their son Carmine of Roxbury, Connecticut, and her cousin Nancy Anderson of Middletown, NY, and her son's Christopher and Daniel and their families.
Felicia is remembered for her winning smile, her kind heart, and keen sense of humor. She was a music lover, movie afficionado and avid reader.
A Memorial Mass was held at the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill, NY on April 1, 2016.
Graveside services will be at the Assumption Cemetery later this spring.
Felicia's wishes were for any donations to be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
She was my dear friend for over 50 years. I shall miss her every day. May she rest in eternal peace. Donna

I received a message from Donna Marchione this morning informing me of the passing of Felicia.  She passed away around 1:30 Saturday afternoon at Hudson Valley Hospital Center.  Donna was with her so she was not alone and she had received Last Rites.

Memorial Services will be held at the Church if the Assumption in Peekskill at 10:00 am Friday, April 1st.

Rest in Peace Felicia. Betsy

I am very sorry to here of Felcia's passing. Many of us have now lived into our sixties, and we should all take a second to remember some of the people we knew from a long time ago. I have memories of Uriah Hill Elementary School, and all of the people I shared classes with. Rest in Peace  Felicia.

I'm sad to hear of Felcia's passing. It is a reminder to us all that the memories we have of our childhood and the people we knew are precious and we should take the time every now and then to remember how fortunate we are.  Rest in peace Felicia.

I was very sad to hear of Felicia's passing.  We were in so many classes together.  I remember her so well.  She was so smart and fun.  We lived near each other.  It does remind us of our own mortality when someone  we knew so well passes.  I will miss her.
