Joseph F. Travis, Jr. of Walden, NY formerly of Peekskill passed away on November 13, 2009, he was 60 years old. Mr. Travis was a Truck Driver for Valley Carting Corp., retiring in 1991. He was born on February 17, 1949 in Peekskill to Joseph and Doris Sutterby Travis, Sr. He graduated from Peekskill High School in 1967. On November 13, 1971 he married Alice Gilleo, the marriage ended in divorce, he later married Jacqueline Michaud. Joseph was an avid fisherman and also a well known musician in the Westchester area. He played guitar from the age of seven and never stopped. He is survived by his four children Joseph F. Gilleo, Brett Travis, Tina Travis and Kristopher Travis, a brother, James Travis, a sister Jody Sperano, sixteen grandchildren and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by, his second wife Jacqueline Michaud. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 11 AM, November 28, 2009 at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. JOSEPH F.
