Finger, Donald A.

Donald A. Finger, of Cortlandt Manor, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2016, he was 64. Born in Queens on April 1, 1952 he was the son of Henry R. Finger and the late Shirley J. (Tvedt) Finger. He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Susan (Nelson) Finger.

Don spent his early years in Queens before he and his family moved to Putnam Valley in 1959. He graduated from Peekskill High School, and later attended SUNY Plattsburgh where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Don was VP of User Experience Design for Credit Suisse in Manhattan.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Susan and his father, Henry Finger, are three brothers, Fred Finger, Robert Finger and James Finger. 

A private cremation will take place at Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale. Plans for a memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be announced at a later date. In remembrance of Don's caring and giving spirit, memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to the following organizations that he supported: the ASPCA, St. Judes's Children's Hospital or Soldier's Angels. Funeral arrangements are in the care of The Clinton Funeral Home, 728 North Division Street, Peekskill.
