John Dwyer Jr., formerly of Peekskill NY, passed away on November 11th. He is survived by his mother, Doris Dwyer, three loving children, Douglas, David and Doreen and a grandson, Liam. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 501, known now as Local 3 IBEW and proud owner of Dwyer's Dwellings Incorporated. He touched many lives with his laughter and charm. He will be in our hearts and memories forever. John will be laid to rest with a short memorial on Dec. 6 at 11 am at Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor. Remembrances can be sent to 407 Cary Rd., Fishkill, NY 12524. I was so saddened to hear of John's passing. I'll always remember him as the sweet and friendly boy I knew in fourth grade. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

John was a great guy--not loud or flashy, just quiet and dependable. I think I remember correctly that he was a member of the golf team, one of the few! I'm so sorry that he's gone....

John and i grew up together as kids and went to school together. We always had good times together and many good stories could be told. RIP John we did have some fun times as we grew up
