My uncle Bill was a pilot in WW2. He and 6 others will killed in a midair crash. Their names were inscribed on a plaque that was hung on a chapel wall. We are in Germany now and wanted to travel to the old AB to see if we could find that chapel and take a picture of the plaque. I have read many buildings have been destroyed with very few still standing. Do you think the chapel on the base would still be there?
