After graduation from college at the University of Minnesota Duluth I had a brief career in the US Army. (2 years)
In October of 1969 I was sent to Vietnam in the Infantry and ended my tour in Army Aviation. I left country in March of 1970 and the Army in May of 1971.
I lived in Champlin for 33 years, retiring from Banking in the Summer of 2004. That fall we gave up the big city and moved to our lake home on Long Lake in Park Rapids, Mn.
Before we moved here I fished every day we were here. After we moved here I fished "Tomorrow and then in a few years it was maybe tomorrow"
Winters are spent in the warmer climates of Mesa Arizona.
The summer of 2012 proved to be quite exciting. I had the opportunity to experience kidney stones in June, cataract surgery in August ( I have the vision of 20 yr old now) and open heart surgery in September.
