After one year at Boylan HS I came to Auburn because I wanted to compete on a swim team. It wasn't long until I felt the true meaning of "school spirit". Our pep rally for our first football game sent chills up my spine. I was in awe. And I was instantly caught up in the spirit.
The '63 class and ourselves felt both the ecstasy of winning championships and the devastating feeling of losing them. It was a unique learning experience.
I went into HS teaching seeking the same school spirit but found out quickly that it was hard to find.
I found my true calling in Medical sales/medical education where I made a difference in a number of patients' lives in hospital OR and ICU depts.
After the medical company I was with in California was split and sold off I found myself out of work. I found a number of opportunities to start my own company back home in Illinois.
