Jim & I saw each other at an Institute dance in 1977 after we'd both served missions (he to Italy South and me to London, England) and after we'd both graduated from the U. It's funny that we'd both attended Olympus Jr. & Olympus High and not paid much attention then. But, the time was right. The rest is history!
I am so grateful for my wonderful husband, 4 daughters, 1 son, and their amazing spouses, 22 beautiful grandchildren, and for such a happy and full life. I really feel so blessed!
What have we been up to since 1970? We've lived in spectacular Moab for about 11 years, Houston for 2, Delta for most of our children's growing up years, then Tooele and now American Fork so we can be closer to our kids & grandkids. Jim was a Chemical Engineer but is retired now. I've been blessed to stay home with our children while they were growing up--being a Room Mom, serving in PTAs, serving in various Ward & Stake callings at Church, and I've also worked at Head Start as a Family Advocate and Teacher, and in the school district as a substitute (Love the flexibility of being able to work on days I want and block out days I don't want to work. Thus that's why I would sub, plus I do enjoy working with youth of all ages from Preschool to High School.) Jim & I served a mission in Australia (mostly in Tasmania) from 2019-2021. What a great experience! I could talk about that for hours!
Thanks to all of you who are keeping our class of 1970 alive and in communication with each other. This is a fantastic website. Great job! We're sorry we didn't go to the reunion. I think it's awesome that you are keeping things going and planning another reunion in 4 years. Great idea. Ten years would be too long. :-)
