I also was unaware of Janie's passing and am saddened to hear of it.  I sang in both Choir and Madrigals with Janie and remember her smiling face, upbeat attitude, and beautiful voice.   She is missed.

How sad it is to receive this news of Jane. She so enjoyed singing in the choir and madrigals. Jane always seemed to have such a sparkle in her smile. She will indeed be missed and remembered.

I too remember Jane Gray...but I called her Janie!  She was in some of my business classes.  So sad of her passing.  Laura Coleman Shanahan

So sad to hear about Janie.  Myrna recently sent me a cd of one of our Madrigal performances her father had made.  Were we all that young once?  Janie was a special gift to us all.

I remember Janie as a wonderful person with a beautiful voice. She was always so cheerful and happy laughing all the time. Such a joyous spirit. I am very saddened by her passing. Too many of our classmates have reached the end of this life. Janie, I'll always remember our good times in A Cappella Choir and Madrigals. May you rest in peace always. Greg.

I, too, was utterly amazed to hear of Janie's death. She had such a beautiful voice. I am perplexed as I know she had a young daughter when I saw her many years ago in Santa Maria. It would truly be a double tragedy if her daughter preceded her in death.

I am so sorry to hear of Janie's death.  She had a beautiful soprano voice.  We had a great time singing in choir and Madrigals together.  Our deepest condolences and prayers to her family.  I thank her for the pleasure of being able to sing together.  Ednacrying
