After graduating from Springfield High School, Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1963.

Bill had a long list of impactful creations starting with the involvement of the first computer drums at Vermont Research, from 1966 to 1976, that were used in many government projects including NASA and the Apollo missions to the moon.

He then co-owned and operated Valley Sports, a successful Kawasaki and Honda dealership in Springfield Vermont from 1976 – 1980.

Bill spent many years working in the field of electronics for various companies developing his skill and knowledge of computers and electronics which he used in all his personal projects from his personal homes to rebuilding cars to motorhomes.

Bill was an amazing carpenter and used that skill to build every one of his homes starting with the home on Stanley Road in Springfield Vermont, the building which housed his motor sports business, Valley Sports, and then the Weathersfield home in the mountains with a grand view of the Connecticut River valley and a fully equipped woodworking barn. He also managed to help all his sons build or improve their own dream homes. Later on in life he would work with Mountain High Builders from 1988 to 1990 creating even more lasting structures.

He would then use his skills to create amazing motor homes which he and his wife, Linda would travel the country visiting friends and family and experience amazing places in our country.
