In Memory

Eunice (Kirk) Anderson

Kirk as you were more commonly known, transitioned from this life on September 6, 2008.

You were one of our dedicated bus drivers when others would say no schoolers you would pick up any one of us as you were not partial to who you carried in your bus.

You are gone to rest but we have not forgotten about you.

Carol Martin (Edwards) (1978)

Amen.  Sure remember at the end of Champs in 1977 when he dropped us home...late, but safely and as we left the bus, he waited until we crossed the road; however, on this night, he told us to wait as he watched a reckless, drunk driver careen past the mini bus and hit a female pedestrian.  Scared parents rushed out at the sound of the loud thud and the tremendously loud wail of a female.  Without hesitation, Kirk rushed to her side and lifted her every so gently, carefully rushing her to the Port Maria Hospital.  I don't know what happened to her but I clearly remember what I witnessed.  A man of action whose philosophy was clearly,  safety first. Kirk, you were as much a part of SMHS as any of us students.

In the arms of the angels, may you find comfort there.

Rest in Peace!
