Joan left us in January of 2015 due to breast cancer. She has touched so many lives in her short time here with us. May her soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on her.

She knew where she was going, she knew who'd be there to meet her, she said her good byes, she said that she was tired and she needed to go. My dear friend, it still tears me up that you're gone. No longer will I hear that "yeah man" from you. God gave you to us for a season and oh what a season it was. I'm so glad to have had you as a friend and sad as I watched you pass over to glory that sad Saturday evening. There was rejoicing in heaven and that gave us all comfort who were there with you.
