Joe was a friend for many years..a real good guy...he came from a tough upbringing and did himself proud by joining the police department and working himself to being an officer , a great accomplishment ,,, rest in peace Joe...it was great knowing you.....Peter Telep

oseph Falzetti
Joseph Falzetti passed away on November 16, 2021 at the age of 88. He was born in Stamford, CT on September 11, 1933, the son of the late Dominick and Margaret (Franchina) Falzetti.
Joseph graduated from Stamford High School, Class of 1951. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran having proudly served from 1953-1955. Joseph worked for the City of Stamford as a Police Officer for 40 years, where he was promoted to detective in 1967 and Lieutenant in 1974, a position he kept up until his retirement in 2000.
He enjoyed playing golf, working out at the Tully Center gym and visiting Cove Island. He always looked forward to spending the winter months in Florida with his late wife Susan, going to Hollywood Beach and the Hard Rock Casino, and playing cards with friends.
He is survived by his son Michael Falzetti of Stamford and sister, Mary La Blanc of Monroe, CT. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Susan (Powrie), twin children Richard and Joanne, brothers Chester, Dominick and Emerico (Peko), sisters Clara Piro and Jean Guarino.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford. There will be no calling hours.
