Isabel Claire Burns Noyce, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on March 12, 2021. 

Isabel was born in Stamford, CT to Albert and Evelyn Burns on July 18, 1933. Isabel grew up in Stamford and graduated from Stamford High School in 1951. Several years later she married Charles Noyce, Jr. and gave birth to five children. In 1963 she began driving Bus 8 for the Bethel School system. In 1980 she began working at the Southbury Training School where she was Supervisor for Cottage 17. After retiring from Southbury Training School, she returned to driving a school bus for several more years.

For many years, when her children were young, Isabel baked and decorated cakes for a local diner, for baby showers, weddings, and graduations for family and friends. She also took extra bus runs for local bands and sports events for Bethel. Isabel had a talent for many other things to occupy her time including reading, gardening, sewing, crocheting, knitting, needlework and candy making. 

Isabel was predeceased by her son Benjamin and is survived by her children: Charles (Barbara), William (Krista), Ruth Noyce and Naomi (Bruce) Kubisek.  She also leaves behind nine Grandchildren: Catherine Kosisko, Matthew Noyce, William Noyce, Jr., Elizabeth Noyce, Fred Noyce, Charlie Noyce, Dierdre Noyce, Lindsey Aravena, Carly Aravena and Lindsey Kubisek. Four Great Grandchildren: Emilie, Lucy, Rowan and Caden Kosisko. 

A private family service will be held during the Spring.
